I like very much little planes but I think your ULM have too low MTOW.
Let's hope you'll be able to fly them as ELA or LSA as to go further with more fuel.

The LSA does't exist in France (only in Germany and i think in UK) need a pilot license: need medical and a PPL license (the LSA license in Germany is ~same) , all very expansive here...ULM need only a lightened license, centered on "piloting first", simple and unexpansive without medical...
So absolutly no chance for us to fly LSA with it...
The lightweight is the price for this, but for exemple , a Skyranger is strong built (better as the standart Far 23) despite he's lightweight...

There are some LSA in France. They are flying thanks to a temporary "permit to fly" while waiting for the ELA category.
I believe it is possible to fly any other LSA in Europe if it has got its US LSA certification. I suppose their pilots would need a PPL.
... mais je ne sais pas si les heures effectuées en LSA "permit to fly" comptent pour le maintien de son PPL ...

La catégorie LSA ou ELA n'existant pas (c'est juste une tolérance "d'usage" des machines rien de plus) ces appareils sont considérés comme avion donc idem niveau heures de vol sur PPL..MYR a écrit :There are some LSA in France.
